The Whitehouse Summer Concert Series is free and open to the public. Food Trucks and Vendors start at 5:00 PM and the concert goes from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM.

Cooling Station at Village Hall.

With high temperatures in the forecast, please remember that Whitehouse Village Hall can be utilized as a cooling station. If it happens to be outside of regular business hours, call the non-emergency dispatch at 419-255-8443, or utilize the red call box at the police entrance doors facing Providence Street at Village Hall, and a Whitehouse Police Department Officer will be happy to assist you with access to the building.

We also have a few window air conditioning units available for pick-up for residents who need some relief. If you, or someone you know, need an air conditioner please call 419-877-5383 to talk with a Village Official.

Remember to stay hydrated, check on your neighbors and never hesitate to reach out if you need assistance.

2026 Citizens Fire Academy with Whitehouse Fire Department and City of Waterville Fire Department!

JOIN US FOR THE 2026 CITIZENS FIRE ACADEMY!

Ever wondered what it’s like to be in the fire or EMS service? Want to learn more about the people who respond when you call 911? Want to learn skills that could save you or a neighbor?

The Whitehouse Fire Department and Waterville Fire Department are teaming up to host a Joint Citizens Fire Academy!
This is a great opportunity for members of our communities to get an inside look at the fire service, learn about emergency response, and experience some of the training our firefighters go through. You will also learn how to remain safe during emergencies.

Dates:
• September 28
• October 5
• October 19
• October 26

Time: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Locations:
The first two sessions will be held at Waterville Fire Department, with the remaining sessions at Whitehouse Fire Department.

What can you expect?
Participants will have the opportunity to learn about fire and EMS operations, see our equipment up close, participate in demonstrations. You will also learn CPR, AED usage, and Stop the Bleed. Participation is free, however, if you would like a CPR certification during the course, the cost is $25.00.

Whether you've always been interested in firefighting or simply want to learn more about the men and women who serve our communities, this is your chance!

Space is limited.

Eligibility: Open to Anthony Wayne residents ages 18 and older, or ages 16–17 with a participating parent

Seasonal Part-Time Help Wanted.

Are you interested in working for the Village?

The Village of Whitehouse is accepting applications for fall seasonal employment in our Public Service Department, for up to 40 hours per week through December 4, 2026. Responsibilities would include maintaining flowers, park cleanup and grass mowing.

Applicants must hold a valid State of Ohio Driver’s License and be insurable, able to read, follow directions and lift 40 pounds. Drug screening is mandatory.

Pay for this position is $16 an hour.

The Anthony Wayne Area Senior Connection RETURNS on September 12 at Hope United Methodist Church-Whitehouse!

It will run every Saturday from 9:00 AM - Noon with guest speakers/programs every Second and Fourth Saturday. Whitehouse Mayor Richard Bingham will kick things off on September 12 with a Village Update at 10:00 AM.

Join us for a continental breakfast. All are welcome!
