A legacy of love, learning, and beautiful memories continues to bloom on our campus. This past week, in a special dedication in front of our fifth-grade class, we honored the beautiful life and enduring impact of our dear Mrs. Jennifer Tomlinson-Smith, who passed away this year after a long, courageous battle with cancer.
To keep her bright spirit alive in the hearts of our students every single day, a beautiful rocking chair and a basket filled to the brim with books now have a permanent home on our campus. The books are a collection of some of Mrs. Smith’s absolute favorite stories, generously donated by our amazing campus PTO and the wonderful Mrs. Stacey Noble, a beloved former Whitehouse educator. These special books will be available for our students to check out, hold, and enjoy for many years to come.
Every time a child curls up with one of these stories, or glances at that rocking chair, they will be reminded of the warmth, joy, and dedication Mrs. Smith brought into our lives. She poured so much love into her educational career here in Whitehouse, shaping countless minds and touching even more hearts. This cozy corner stands as a living testament to the incredible impact she made on our school family. We miss her dearly, but we are so comforted to know that her passion for reading and her love for our students will continue to inspire generations of Whitehouse Wildcats. 🐾❤️
