The Open House will be from 0900-1300. It will consist of;

CCAF has paused regular operations effective immediately!
CCAF began the migration from STARS to SIS. This migration will impact our service capabilities and the availability of numerous CCAF tools.

Services impacted;
- Submission of CCAF Action Requests (applying credit, changing catalogs, updating student records, degree nominations, and more).
- CCAF Online Services (Web Progress Reports, transcript orders, etc.). Transcripts may still be ordered, but will only reflect information loaded prior to 28 Sep 2022.
- Process Degrees.

Projected get well date: 30 March 2023

Please be patient with us and CCAF during this time as we navigate through these changes.

The Air Force Association (AFA) is now accepting applications for their 2022 scholarships. Each year the AFA offers over $100,000 in academic and flight training scholarships to Airmen, Guardians, and their families.

The deadline for application submission is April 30, 2022. Interested candidates may find more information about specific scholarship options (and apply online) at www.afa.org/scholarships.

GI Bill beneficiaries: COVID-19 provisions have been extended.

If you have been negatively impacted by COVID-19, you may be eligible to continue receiving certain education benefits through June 1, 2022.

While VA works to update our systems to reflect this update, you may receive a letter with the previous expiration of December 21, 2021, which you may disregard.

**HOLIDAY HOURS ANNOUNCEMENT**
Education Center/PDC;
- Computer Lab/Study Area (Evenings): CLOSED 23 December - 02 January.
- Ed Center: Will be CLOSED on 23-24 December and 31 December - 03 January and will return on 04 January.

On Base Schools;
- SFCC: Will be CLOSED from 1200 on 22 December - 02 January.
- Park University: Will be CLOSED from 1200 on 21 December - 26 December and will be CLOSED 29 December - 02 January.
- UCM: Will be CLOSED from 1200 on 23 December - 02 January.
*All On Base School offices will reopen on 03 January.

It is recommended that you contact your respective school representative to verify their availability before traveling to the PDC.

With many colleges and universities starting their Spring 2022 semesters on January 10th, the Education Center would like extend a friendly reminder to students utilizing Tuition Assistance. The deadline for TA submission for classes beginning on this date is 03 January 2022 (Family Day). There is plenty of time to get your TA submitted before this deadline, so please do not delay. If you find you need assistance or encounter any issues with submission within AFVEC, please do not hesitate to reach out to the Education Center via phone at 660-687-5750, email at [email protected], or by visiting us in person between 0830-1530 Mon-Fri. Please be aware that our office will be closed on December 23-24 and December 31-January 03.
