Oct. 26: Red Ribbon Week begins! All students are asked to bring a bag of candy donation for our Fall Festival.
Oct. 27: Dress like a superhero. Molly McGuire's Spirit night
Oct. 28: Dress wacky and tacky.
Oct. 29: Team up and wear matching outfits with a friend.
Oct. 30: Fall Festival. Student's may wear school appropriate costumes.

Fall Festival Times
Kinder, 1st & 2nd from 10am-12noon
PreK from 12noon-1pm
3rd, 4th and 5th from 1pm-3pm

We are collecting new adult size socks for Sock-tober. The last day to donate is October 30.

Congratulations to our Marshpoint Elementary Reading Bowl Team for representing our school with such pride and for demonstrating our Leader in Me habits throughout your journey! Your teamwork, commitment, perseverance, and dedication to learning are wonderful examples of leadership in action. They won SECOND PLACE in the Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl and will advance to regionals.
You showed that being a leader is about working together, encouraging one another, and giving your very best. We are so proud of the way you represented our school and lived out our Ride the Wave spirit!
Special thanks to Natalie Allred, Ashely Peck, Katie O'Connor and Heidi Schaffner for coaching and supporting our students on Saturday!
Keep shining, keep leading, and keep making waves! You are a wonderful reminder that at Marshpoint, leadership begins with me!

Today, 4th Graders from Marshpoint Elementary School enjoyed a field trip, "Savannah's Liberty Tree" in the downtown area. Here they are in Battlefield Park with Massie Curator Steven Smith, learning about soldiers and their drills during the Siege of Savannah, 1779.

Report Cards will be emailed to parents/ guardians and available through the PowerSchool Parent Portal by 5 PM on the following dates:
Q1- October 16, 2026
Q2- January 8, 2027
Q3- March 3, 2027
Q4/ Y1- May 28, 2027

When accessing your student's Report Card from the PowerSchool Parent Portal, please click the Electronic Signature button to acknowledge that it has been reviewed. Report Cards can only be accessed through the desktop version of the portal, not through the app. If you do not have a PowerSchool Parent Portal Account, please request one here: https://www.sccpss.com/departments/tbs/sis

Kindergarten families:
In lieu of Report Cards, parents/ guardians of kindergarten students will receive a GKIDS (GA Kindergarten Inventory of Developing Skills) Report from the homeroom teacher.

We have Beautification Day on Saturday, October 24 from 9AM-12PM!

Jobs include assembling tables, hanging posters and signs, and other quick, easy tasks. You don’t have to stay the whole time—every little bit helps! We’re also looking for someone who can bring a pressure washer.

As a thank-you, students whose parents volunteer will earn a DONUT PARTY and a shout-out on MN4K for their leadership!🍩
