During National Police Week 2026, we pause to honor and thank the men and women of the White Mountain Apache Police Department.

We join you in remembering Fallen Officers:

As EMS, we know firsthand what it means to run toward danger to protect this community. We’ve stood beside you on scenes, worked with your dispatchers, and shared the weight of the calls that don’t make the news. Your courage makes our jobs safer. Your backup means everything.

To every WMAT officer, dispatcher, and staff member: Thank you for answering the call. Thank you for protecting our people, our elders, and our children. Thank you for the nights, weekends, and holidays you give up to keep us safe.

We also thank the WMAT Game Rangers, and everyone who supported you this week. When one department is strong, we are all stronger.
