🚨PULIC NOTICE- ALERRT TRAINING🚨

When: today and tomorrow June 4&5
What: ALERRT Training across all departments
Where: Whitesboro Intermediate School

ALERRT (Advanced Law Enforcement, Rapid Response Training) is a nationally recognized training program designed to prepare first responders for active threat and critical incident situations. The training focuses on communication, coordination, rapid response, and life-saving tactics to help ensure the best possible outcome during emergencies.

Throughout the training, residents may notice an increased presence of police officers, firefighters, emergency vehicles, and public safety personnel around the intermediate school. This is only a training exercise, and there is no threat to the public.

Training opportunities like these allow our agencies to work together strengthen partnerships, and practice coordinated responses in a realistic environment. These exercises are an important part of maintaining readiness and ensuring we can effectively serve and protect our community when it matters the most.

We appreciate Whitesboro ISD for providing the trading location and thank our community for your understanding and support as we continue investing in the safety of Whitesboro.

ONE TEAM. ONE MISSION. KEEPING WHITESBORO SAFE.

The Whitesboro Historical & Preservation Society is honored to continue preserving and sharing this rich history for generations to come.

Here’s to the legacy of those who came before us and to a bright future ahead. Happy Birthday, Whitesboro! ❤️

Today we take a moment to pause and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice of service to our country.

Their courage, selflessness, and unwavering dedication secured the many freedoms we enjoy every day. While many spend today with family and friends, we also honor the families carrying the weight of loss and remembrance.

From all of us at the Whitesboro Police Department, we extend our deepest gratitude to those who gave everything for our great nation.

We remember them.

This EMS Week, we proudly recognize the incredible men and women of our EMS division who answer the call day and night to provide compassionate, lifesaving care to our community. Whether responding to emergencies, comforting patients in difficult moments, or standing ready when seconds matter most, their dedication does not go unnoticed.

We also want to recognize the important partnership shared with our emergency dispatchers, who are the calm voice on the other end of the phone and help coordinate critical resources, as well as the emergency room nurses and physicians who continue patient care long after the ambulance arrives at the hospital.

Emergency response is truly a team effort, and we are grateful for each of these professionals who work together every day to serve and protect our community.

Thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and your commitment during EMS Week and every week of the year.
