And now we begin our season of the caterpillars. Many may view them as munching monsters but remember you love them when you meet them again in the next stage of their lives. For most people we ask you just observe and protect their habitats. Promote flight, and pollination.

This is a big post:

the district has been blessed for decades to have Ms. Brenda hold down our District Office. She has now begun the retirement process. Therefore, we are now accepting applications for her administrative secretary position.

Application can be picked up at the district office. The position applicants should be strong in administrative, fiscal and communication skills.

Our office number is 606-633-4448 if you need more information. The deadline is May 6,2026 at 4:00 p.m.

As the Iran war drives fertilizer prices up 40%, the Trump administration is warning against price gouging. A new survey shows only 60% of corn farmers have secured their nitrogen needs for 2026.
