This is a great picture!
It was shared a few years ago.
We would also like to use this picture to get the word out to everyone that when these trashcans are overflowing it gives the bears an opportunity to open them.
Please, if you see a trash can that is already full, please take your trash to the next available can or take it with you!
Our Staff tries our best to stay on top of the trash, but sometimes it happens.
Please do this for the safety of our bears!
This guy needs berries and roots for breakfast - not trash!

Levitt AMP Whitesburg Music Series 2026 begins Thursday, June 4th.
We kick off with one of Kentucky's finest songwriters and member of Kentucky Music Hall of Fame's Class of 2026, Nicholas Jamerson. Mt. Sterling's Meg Allen opens it up at 6:30,
Nicholas and the Morning Jays take the stage at 7:30.
The Whitesburg Farmers Market opens at 6:00.
Food, refreshments, kids activities, and family friendly entertainment.
Free live music for all!

234 years ago today, by splitting from Virginia, Kentucky was admitted into the Union as the 15th state in our nation. 🇺🇸
