For those that follow this page- I want to take the opportunity to thank all of the volunteers, the board members and the citizens of Whitewater. As we move forward into 2022, there are some great things to look forward to. It has been a privilege and an honor to serve as the Fire Chief for the past 8 years. Thank you for everything you do. No one truly understands a volunteer fire department until you selflessly take your time and give to help others. The families of the volunteers who understand when they have to leave in the middle of dinner, or the middle of the night to respond to help someone in the community. As members of the community, it might seem like an eternity for someone to come help you but just know that person who is on their way just left their family or some other event to come and assist you in your time of need. From the first volunteers in 2002 as the Lands End Response Team, to the future of the Mesa County Fire Authority it was a humbling experience and I am grateful for the opportunity. To many past members to list, but if you have walked through these doors I thank you.
Thank you for your support and dedication.
