🎣🐟 What an Incredible Day at Reel Fun Fishing Day! 🐟🎣

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for Whitewater Parks & Recreation's Reel Fun Fishing Day during Wisconsin's Free Fishing Weekend!

It was amazing to see so many families spending time together outdoors, learning new skills, and making memories at Cravath Lakefront Park. One of the highlights of the day was watching children—and even a few adults—catch a fish for the very first time in their lives! From learning how to cast a line to baiting their own hooks, participants embraced every part of the fishing experience and had a blast doing it.

We are incredibly grateful to Bass Pro Shops, Cabela's, and the Outdoor Fund for their generous grant sponsorship, which provided the fantastic raffle prizes awarded throughout the day. The excitement on the faces of our winners was priceless!

A special thank you goes out to Lakes Advisory Committee members Ginny, Carol, and Geoff for volunteering their time and helping make the event such a success. Your support and dedication to our community are truly appreciated.

We would also like to thank Scouting America for joining in on the fun and helping create a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere for everyone in attendance.

Whether you caught your first fish, learned a new skill, won a raffle prize, or simply enjoyed a beautiful day by the lake, thank you for being part of a wonderful community event.

🎣 Until next time... keep casting, keep exploring, and keep making memories outdoors!
