Great Saturday at the Massachusetts State Police Museum and Learning Center!! Emphasis today was on the Learning Center. Cub Scout Pack 150 earned their Forensics Adventure Badge. At the helm was MSPMLC President Steve Byron instructing on fingerprint analysis. Starting the day off was Retired Trooper Paul Landry, who gave a real-world tutorial on the investigative side of the MSP. His example was the Robin Benedict murder case that he was so embedded in!!! Identified and solved in two weeks! Unbelievable! I believe we identified one or two future forensic scientists in the group. Great time had by all, once again!

Flying the Colors!! Paul Powell, Bob Leverone and I displayed 3 vintage Massachusetts State Police cruisers, 1951, 1968 and 1978 at the Mass Cruisers Auto Club Car Show, Gillette stadium, Rt. 1, Foxboro!! Over 800 cars at the event but I believe we stole the show ( atleast in my mind!!). Stopped by “K4” for a quick bath and photo op before we slid north to the lot. Good time had by all!!

Ok, we tested the waters and it was good! So this Thursday, June 4th 3-730pm, the Massachusetts State Police Museum and Learning Center will be showing off these 3 vintage MSP Cruisers at the Mass Cruisers @ Bass Pro Foxboro Rt 1 Foxboro ( Bass Pro Shop). 1951, 1968 and 1978!! The forecast looks great!! See you there!!!

Great night at the Mass Cruisers @ Bass Pro Foxboro at Gillette Stadium parking lot, Rt 1 Foxboro! Started off slow but when the clouds drifted away, the crowds arrived. Lt Bob Leverone (retired) and I showed up with the 1978 Ford LTD!! Lots of good people stopped by, asked questions, told stories and truly enjoy the memories this cruiser brought back!! We might try to come back next week, June 4th!!!

No, they didn’t call me back!! I don’t have the MID out of Foxboro. We WILL be bringing the MSP 1978 LTD to the car show at Gillette, Thursday night. Hope to see you there!! Stop over, bring a cold beverage: soft drink/ water!!! Say hello and enjoy the show!! You never know…they may take us both out of “ moth balls!”
