Cook/Caterer wanted

Enriched Adult Day Care is looking for an outside Cook/Caterer. We are learning for a Cook or Caterer that is well-skilled at cooking for the elderly or mentally ill. Our cook must be able to cook for up to 30 people 5 days a week. They must be health-conscious and must know how create a variety of meals that not only feed our clients, but aid in preventing complications of illnesses our clients suffer from.

Cooks/Caterers must be able to:

Has passed a certified food protection manager test that is part of an accredited program recognized by the Department
Has been issued a Massachusetts certificate of allergen awareness training by an allergen awareness training verification program recognized by the Department
Has a minimum of six months of supervisory experience in the planning, preparation, and service of food, including therapeutic diets.
Must submit a weekly menu that is heart healthy and that caters to people with illnesses such as GERD, Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, etc.
All relevant licenses must be up to date.
Cooks must bring their food to the facility by 11:30 AM to have food served by noon.
ServSafe certified in cooking and serving food
Cook a variety of meals for lunch from Monday to Friday
Health-Conscious meals with vegetarian options

Drivers Wanted

Enriched Adult Day Care is looking for a driver to transport clients from home to the EADC facility in Whitman and back. The driver is one of the first faces that represents EADC when meeting clients. It’s important that the driver is skilled, punctual, and professional.

The following is the requirements needed for our driver.

• Work early mornings

• Experienced in driving vans and trucks – Our van is a 15-seat van.

• Must have clean driving record – Our clients include the mentally ill and the elderly. We need a driver that drives safely to protect our clients.

• Willing to train

• Must start as soon as possible

• Helping clients get on and get off van

• Keep van clean

• Must have current Massachusetts driving license

• Must have a car to drive to get to the van

• Must have professional manner – Must be well groomed, dress cleanly

• Must have strong communicative skills – Must be strong in speaking and articulating thoughts.

• Must have working GPS or phone with GPS capabilities

• Must be on time, be punctual
