CHICKEN STEW FUND RAISER- Saturday February 21st at the Post on Golf Alley. We had to increase the price to $9 a quart due to rising costs. We already have several advanced orders and it is usually all sold before we start cooking. Please get your orders in by contacting a member of the Post or message here. Pick up begins at 10 AM and we close at noon. We can make special arrangements for those that cannot pick up their orders during that time. Thank you for your support.

HONORING ALL VETERANS AND THEIR IMMEDIATE FAMILY
The Friendship Baptist Church is sponsoring a FREE BBQ sandwich lunch at the Church Life Center across from the Church at 74 Leaman Ave.
The meal will be served from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM on Saturday November the 8th. The meal will consist of BBQ sandwich, chips, and beverage; Dine-In or Take-Out.

CHICKEN STEW - SATURDAY FEBRUARY 24TH
The cost is $8 a quart. We normally sell out with pre-orders before we start cooking so get your requests to us ASAP. We appreciate all the support and we are ready to start taking orders. Some customers have already placed their orders. As in the past we can make special arrangements for those who can't get to the Post on the 24th. We can hold, freeze, and deliver to those special situations. Just let us know when you place your order or if a situation should arise. You can place your order with any member of Post 70. You can Post your order here but double check to make sure that your request has been responded to. Thank you.

Stew is $8 a quart and will be available for pickup from 10AM to 12 Noon at the Legion Post on Golf Alley. As in the past, we can deliver to customers with special needs and store for those that can't make it to the Post at the pickup time. Introductions made by Commander Charlene Stroud. We are proud to be represented at the Palmetto Boys/Girls State by these great students. Missing was Aiden Davis.

MEMORIAL DAY MAY 29TH, 2023; The Post will conduct the "Laying of the Wreath Ceremony" at the Veterans Memorial in the Whitmire Cemetery. The program will start at 0900 at the Memorial. The public is invited and encouraged to join us as we honor those Veterans who are no longer with us.

Thank you for the turn out. It was a great tribute and we are especially grateful for the contributions to the event from Melissa Stevens who performed the National Anthem and Yoder Hopkins for playing TAPS, We appreciate Patriot Guard turning out to our events.
