**UPDATE** The subject we were looking to speak with contacted the police department and we were able to have that conversation that we were looking to have. The property that he helped himself to, that did not belong to him was ultimately returned to the owner. The owner chose not to prosecute and the matter has been resolved.

LESSON LEARNED HERE = It is not ok to trespass onto someone's private, residential property and take something that does not belong to you!

And.... Bob Segar did not appreciate being blamed for this either!

Thank you and enjoy that warm weather out there today while it lasts!

**Request for Public Assistance**

The Northfield Township Police Department is seeking your help in identifying the individual pictured below. It seems this person likes to take things that do not belong to him, and we would like to have a conversation with him. His devious actions took place in the area of Kearney Road and Jennings Road. You can see pictured, he drives a black Dodge Ram. If you recognize this person, please encourage him to call the police department or drop us a line with who he is and remain anonymous.

Thank you !

***Community Update***

Notice to Residents:

Over the next two weeks, you may observe helicopters operating in the area. These aircraft are conducting routine surveys, and there is no cause for concern.

"Veracity Aviation will be in the area for the next two weeks doing some survey and data collection work.

They are going to be in the M-14 and US-23 corridors, using two helicopters that will be flying about 300-500 feet off the ground, and flying very close to each other."

Thank you to the men and women of the Northfield Township Police and Fire Departments for your hard work fundraising and donated time to give back to the community.

I think it is fair to say that a rewarding time was had by all last night, spending time with Santa and giving back to our fellow residents.

We wish you all a Happy and Safe Holiday!
