Are You a Helper?
The City of Whitney is looking to connect with individuals, churches, civic groups, nonprofits, businesses, and other organizations that are willing to help neighbors in need.
Some residents may need assistance with code compliance concerns such as lawn mowing, brush removal, junk cleanup, minor exterior cleanup, or similar services — but may not have the physical ability, financial resources, or support needed to address the issue on their own.
Our goal is to help create a path to assistance before a concern becomes a code enforcement issue.
If you or your organization has an existing program, or if you are willing to provide services at no charge to citizens who need help, we would love to hear from you. By working together, we can connect willing helpers with residents who could use a helping hand.
If you are interested in being part of this community resource effort, please contact the City of Whitney via email at [email protected] or phone at 254-694-2261.
Together, we can help keep Whitney clean, safe, and neighborly. 💙
