The Blum fire is at 95% containment as the Forestry Service will be turning the fire back over to Hill County. Contrary to earlier reports no homes were lost in this fire. Only outbuildings. We would like to thank the public for their outpouring of love and support for the area departments. This was a join efforts with multiple agencies involved. It is heart warming to see all the neighbors come together to support each other. Please remember we are still under a burn ban.

As many of you know Blum had a MASSIVE fire yesterday. Off the top of my head I count 19 departments there. I'm sure I'm missing some. The forestry service assisted along the TIFMAS strike teams from the metroplex. This was a 250 acre fire. There are still crews out there keeping an eye on things. Please pray for everyone involved. To my brothers and sisters that worked for countless hours on this fire we say thank you.

Hill county is now under a burn ban for the next 90 days

According to the North Texas Weather Service we are at. Medium risk this evening for flying trampolines. There is also another risk for some hail.

Last night was a wild ride. BUT, we are in for more. The weather service is calling for GIANT hail (3.5"+). Please be ready for this storm and make preparations.
