We HAVE

10 cooking teams
4 Trunk-or-Treat Stations

We NEED

2 cooking teams
6 Trunk-or-Treat Stations

Any teen needing community service hours can get them by working a Trunk-or-Treat Station!

We will be set up at the Station on Sept 9 and Sept 23 selling raffle tickets and cooking burgers! 11-1pm 🚒

What a support system Station 45 has in this community!!! The donations have been fast and furious!! It is difficult to keep track, which is a wonderful problem to have BUT It makes It difficult to thank individuals.

PLEASE KNOW….they are beyond thankful!!! THANK YOU to each and every person who has donated and supported Station 45 🚒

🚒 FIRE UPDATE 🚒

Due to the current fire conditions at Possum Kingdom Lake, our area is experiencing drift smoke. There is currently NO fire in Whitt.

If you see flames or a visible column of smoke, please call it in immediately. Otherwise, please help keep phone lines open for actual emergencies and allow our crews to focus on the ongoing fire response.

The outpouring of support and ordering of supplies is unmatched!! I have updated Station 45 Amazon list as many needs have been met! Wow just wow!!

There are just a few items left on the list.

Again, THANK YOU for showing up for our community fire fighters!! Several have asked about meals. If you want to provide a meal, delivering to the station would be ideal! As they rotate in and out, they can have food there to eat.

I will continue to update as this progresses 🚒

On behalf of the Fire Chief: Whitt is NOT on fire, so please stop blowing up his phone.

He, along with several members of our department, has been on the Palo Pinto fire since early this afternoon. They are actively working the fire and doing everything they can.

We understand everyone is concerned, but the constant calls and messages are making an already difficult situation harder. Please allow them to focus on the job at hand. If there is an emergency or important information that needs to be shared, please contact the appropriate dispatch/emergency number.

Thank you for understanding and for keeping all of the firefighters working this fire in your prayers.

🚒 IF YOU ARE ABLE 🚒

Our fire fighters need electrolyte drink packets that mix in water bottles! They are lightweight and they can put a bunch in their bags! There is ALWAYS water but they need the packets to mix in!!
