Our goal to provide access to all forms of information that support Southern California University of Health Science's commitment to integrated healthcare and excellence in academics, service, scholarship, and leadership. The LRC provides access to biomedical, chiropractic, acupuncture, oriental medicine, and alternative medicine resources through our print and a/v collections (8,000+), extensive
journal collections (3,000+), and a variety of online databases such as EbscoHost and specialty databases (15+). The LRC also provides access through local partner libraries and inter-library loan to the resources of nearby university libraries and the world. Check out our notes section to see the resources available through the LRC and our new materials! Mission:
The Seabury LRC supports learning, instruction and research by providing access to a broad array of resources and services. The LRC is dedicated to excellent service, utilization of new and relevant technologies, and fostering information literacy. (rev. 2007)
Your SCU Student ID Card:
This is your “library card.” You will need your ID to borrow materials, photocopy, scan or print materials or use any of the library’s resources. Academic Support Center:
SCU supports an Academic Support Program (ASP Office in LRC). The LRC provides the meeting space for the Center’s classes in time management, note and test reviews, or peer tutoring sessions. Students who have used this program have reported better academic performance. The program is meant to work with you whether you are struggling or just need an extra boost.
