A heartfelt thank you to Pat Goldhahn for taking the time to visit Wibaux Public Schools and share Lauryn’s story with our students and staff through his presentation, “Buckle Up for Lauryn.”

Pat shared his family’s journey and reminded us that something as simple as buckling your seat belt can save a life. But his message went beyond seat belts. He reminded our students not to take life for granted—to appreciate the people around us, make good choices, and remember that every day and every moment matters.

As part of the presentation, students were given blue ribbons to tie on their steering wheels or give to someone they love. The ribbon is a simple reminder every time they get behind the wheel to buckle up and make the choice to protect themselves and the people they care about.

We are grateful to Pat for sharing such a personal story and turning Lauryn’s life into a message that can make a difference for others.
