Come on out to our Open House, happening now!! We are all set up with all our trucks out, AirEvac has joined us with their helicopter, as well as Sheppard AFB Fire Prevention with their trailer! Wichita County Sheriff's Office as well as Texas Forest Service has joined us with goodies!

In January of this year, we began a Firefighter I Academy. Tonight we had a brief graduation for 8 of our firefighters. It's been a long time coming, but we are so proud of each and every one of them for sticking it out, pushing hard, and giving it their all. Congrats to Izayah Guillen, Alex Lopez, Devyn Klump, Richey Rogers, Justin Wiles, Jacob Williams, Eric Stevens, Chauncy Krol.

We also recognized one of our other firefighters, Nichole Pfeffer, who recently became fully certified. And Thanks to our training officer, Terry Hanks for helping these guys and gals reach their goals!

Congrats to our Firefighter I graduates! Now to study for state exam and then move on to the next steps!!

All set up at the Burkburnett High School Career Fair! A big thanks to BISD for inviting us out to bring our new (to us) truck and set up a table.

Save the date!! We're having an Open House on May 23rd, from 10am to 2pm!! Come and see the trucks, gear, equipment, meet the firefighters, tour the station, and ask questions! We'll have visitors from other area agencies such as AMR, AirEvac, Texas Forest Service, and more!

Friberg-Cooper firefighters had a fun morning drafting from the river to spray down THOR race participants Saturday April 18th. We have done this for several years and it’s always a great training opportunity!

We assisted Cameron Gardens Volunteer Fire Department on a fire on Friday April 17th on River Rd.

Spring Meeting and Convention is April 25th at Wichita West VFD new fire station (7952 Seymour Hwy Wichita Falls, TX 76310).

Memorial Service, Firefighter and EMS of the Year Awards, Elections, and free lunch!! Come join us!!

We also have several vacant openings on the Executive Board, this is your time to get involved and join the district! Openings are 2nd VP, 3rd VP, 4th VP, Mascot, Secretary/Treasurer, and Chaplain.

Friberg-Cooper firefighters assisted Cameron Gardens VFD with a structure fire yesterday (Thursday March 26) in the 5000 block of River Rd. No firefighters were injured and occupants were out of the structure at the time of fire. By the way, two rattlesnakes were spotted on scene as well, so watch where you step!!
