Tomorrow May 9th, we will be at the intersection of Kell Blvd and FM-369/Southwest Pkwy, from 8:00 AM until 3:00 PM.

As you may know, our station is nearly complete(!!!), and we will need to furnish the offices and gear storage. All money raised will go to furnishing our new station.

In case you hadn’t heard, the burn ban for the unincorporated areas of Wichita County has been lifted. If you’re in our response area, here’s your friendly reminder to call our Dispatch (Iowa Park Police Department) at 940-592-2181, or the Sheriff’s Office dispatch at 940-720-5000. All burns must be called in prior to starting.

You know the drill! Warm, shifting winds, with low humidity bring us back to a High to Very High Fire Danger for our area today. A Red Flag warning is in effect from 9am-10pm. The Burn Ban has been extended until April 25th, so if you believe you see a fire, do not hesitate to call 911.
