City of Wichita Falls 50 Plus Zone Discover Wichita Falls’ 50 Plus Zone — a vibrant community for adults 50 and better! Fitness, art, music, and friendship all under one roof.

Follow us for event updates and community highlights! Hours Monday through Friday 7:30am until 6:30 pm. The 50+ Zone is a recreation center for Active Adults 50 and over-programmed by the City of Wichita Falls Parks and Recreation Department. At only $40 a year (less than $3.50 a month!), you get so much FUN for so LITTLE! Activities offered include a fully appointed fitness equipment room, circui

t training room, instructor-led, and chair fitness classes, Tai Chi, Karate, live band dances, line dancing, BINGO, Texas Hold’em Poker,arts and crafts classes, stained glass classes, line dancing, billiards, table tennis, and a whole lot more. POST / COMMENT REMOVAL POLICY ( effective January 1, 2020)

As a Staff Worker, you’ll help provide excellent customer service, assist with program registration, set up and tear down activities and events, help with fitness and recreation programs, give facility tours, prepare refreshments, monitor supplies, and so much more!

You’ll work directly with our members and help create fun, welcoming experiences through programs, tournaments, special events, and outings. 🎉

Beginning August 3rd, all 50+ Zone members will be required to have their Membership ID visible while in the building.

To make the check-in process quicker and more accurate, the keyboard for the sign-in computer will be locked. Members will use their Membership ID card to sign in when entering the building, so please be sure to bring it with you each time you visit.

Need a new membership or a renewal? We've got you covered! New memberships and renewals can be completed in the Social Room. Lanyards and ID clips are also available for purchase there.

These updates help us maintain accurate membership records and ensure a smooth check-in process for all of our members.

We've got another month packed with fun, fitness, games, classes, and special events! Whether you're looking to stay active, make new friends, learn something new, or dance the night away, there's something for everyone.

This month's highlights include:

Live Band Dances every Friday night

🎶 Join us this Friday at the 50+ Zone for an evening of great music and dancing with Monty and the Red River Band! Grab your dancing shoes and come enjoy a fun night with friends.

Doors open at 6:30 PM and the music starts at 7:00 PM. The social room is open until 6:30 PM for anybody wanting to hangout and socialize before the doors open.

Please remember that all members are required to bring their membership ID cards for check-in upon arrival. Having your ID ready will help us get everyone checked in quickly and keep the evening running smoothly.
