I want to congratulate Officer Larry Robinett and Officer Ken Coughlin for graduating from the Texas School Safety Center (TxSSC) Master school based law enforcement class. This is a series of trainings which begins with the Introductory, Intermediate, Advanced, and finally the Master’s class. Their journey began last summer, and they were intent on finishing the training this summer. They are now Texas certified school based law enforcement officers with TCOLE. Both of them are an asset to City View ISD, and it’s an honor to work with them. Congratulations!

CVISD Police Department participated in the Special Olympics today. I want to thank WFPD Officer Arias, Officer Trujillo, and Sgt. Vasquez, WCSO Deputy Chitwood and Deputy Beck, and Holliday Officer Simmons for their help. It was a good day. And of course I had to take a picture with my granddaughter Sailor.

I presented the 3 year security audit report to the CVISD Board of Trustees tonight. Check this off the list, now continue working on the policies for accreditation with the Texas Police Chiefs Association. Thankful to be at CVISD.
