Mayor Lily Wu served as a judge at the 2026 Civics Bee, recognizing the next generation of civic leaders in our community.

Congratulations to the top finalists:
1st Place – Vishaan (Robinson Middle School)
2nd Place – Eeshaan (Robinson Middle School)
3rd Place – Tyler (Derby North Middle School)

These outstanding students will advance to compete at the state Civics Bee in June at the Kansas Leadership Center.

Thank you to the Wichita Regional Chamber of Commerce and Wichita Public Schools for supporting this program and helping inspire civic engagement among Wichita’s youth.
