The Chip Site at High Park will be closed Thursday, June 11, Friday, June 12 and Saturday June 13 due to the Smoke on the Plains BBQ & Music Fest. There will be no access to the parking lot as we will have 60 BBQ teams using it for the competition.

Drive the Dash!
The City of Derby is seeking a Part-Time Van Driver.
Starting pay: $16.97/hour

What You Will Need:
✅ High school diploma or equivalent.
✅ Must meet safety sensitive requirements, including random drug screenings.
✅ Minimum of five years driving experience with an unrestricted driver’s license.
✅ Valid Kansas driver’s license and driving record must meet commercial liability insurance requirements.

What Will Put You Ahead:
✅ Must be able to read a map and follow a written schedule.
✅ Knowledge of the geography of the city, and names/locations of city streets.
✅ Ability to meet and deal tactfully with the public.

We are gearing up for the 15th Annual Smoke on the Plains BBQ & Music Fest at High Park on June 12 and 13. The popular People's Choice tasting will be held Friday, June 12. The $5 tasting kit includes six, two-ounce samples of mouth-watering, competition quality pulled pork. Kits go on sale at 6:30 p.m.!
