REAP Of South Central Kansas Strengthening the economy of South Central Kansas through joint action of cities and counties.

Founded in 1997, the Regional Economic Area Partnership (REAP) is a voluntary council of governments in South Central Kansas. Governed by a Board of Directors made up of local elected officials, REAP’s mission is to guide state and national actions that affect economic development in the region and adopt joint actions among member governments that enhance the regional economy.

The City of Park City, Kansas is hosting a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to celebrate the opening of the new Park City Senior Center.

📅 Date: Wednesday, February 25, 2026
⏰ Time: 3:00 p.m.
📍 Location: Park City Senior Center, 1811 Stuart Drive, Park City, KS 67219

This new facility represents an important investment in the city's senior residents and the community as a whole.

Following the ribbon cutting, guests will have the opportunity to tour the facility, enjoy some lite snacks and visit with City officials and community partners.

Each month, the Wichita Airport Advisory Board (WAAB) meets to provide guidance and insights that shape the future of Wichita’s airports. From long-term strategic planning and land use to customer service, safety, environmental considerations, and economic development, the Board plays a key role in keeping our airports operating safely, efficiently, and with an eye toward growth.

Together, WAAB members help ensure Wichita’s airports continue to serve our community, support regional development, and deliver a positive experience for travelers and partners alike.

Last week, REAP members participated in the Wichita Regional Chamber of Commerce City-to-City visit to Detroit.

Wichita's delegation enjoyed exploring the city’s ecosystem of nonprofits, businesses, and community leaders working together to make Detroit an ideal place to live, work, and invest.
