REMEMBERING 9/11
It’s hard to believe it’s been 23 years since that clear September morning in 2001, when ordinary routines became moments frozen in time.
That night, 246 people went to sleep thinking about their upcoming flights, 2,606 set their alarms for another day at work, and 343 firefighters, 60 police officers, and 8 paramedics prepared for their shifts, ready to answer the call of duty.
By 10:00 AM the next day, the world had changed forever. Those we lost in the attacks will never grow older, never have another tomorrow. Their plans, their dreams, their lives were cut tragically short, leaving behind an unforgettable legacy of courage and sacrifice.
Today, 23 years later, their memory still speaks to us. We’re reminded of the fragility of life and the importance of the moments we often take for granted. So tonight, before you close your eyes and prepare for another day, take a moment to pause. Call someone you love, hug a little tighter, and be grateful for today.
In a world that can change in an instant, remember to never take any day, any breath, or any person for granted.
September 11 – We will always remember.
