This past weekend, Army recruiters had the honor of supporting the Prairie View Marathon! From helping set up to proudly passing out medals at the finish line, we were grateful to be a part of such an inspiring event.

A big thank you to the Wichita community for the warm welcome and to the incredible Prairie Fire Marathon coordinators for allowing us to participate. We’re always proud to serve—both in uniform and in our communities!

"This We'll Defend" has been our Army's motto since the Revolutionary War. It reminds us that our purpose is timeless and clear: to fight and win our Nation's wars. When our Army hits the dirt, America means business. Our purpose remains constant. Happy Birthday ⭐🎉

80 years ago today, the D-Day operation, code-named Operation Overlord, of June 6, 1944, brought together the land, air, and sea forces of the allied armies in what became known as the largest amphibious invasion in military history. Today, we Remember, we honor, we salute, and we are thankful for the bravery and sacrifice of those who fought for our freedom. We honor the brave heroes who stormed the beaches of Normandy, marking the beginning of the end of World War II. On this historic day, we remember the sacrifices made on , 80 years ago.

We express our gratitude to the greatest generation, whose legacy of bravery and sacrifice lives on. We honor the fallen, the survivors, and the veterans who returned home to rebuild a better world. Their stories remind us that freedom is not free.

As a Satellite Communication Systems Operator-Maintainer, you'll be responsible for all technical aspects of satellite equipment installation, operations, configuration, and alignment in order to keep lines of communication up and running. You’ll get hands-on training in the inspection, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance that will be a core function of your duties. You’ll install, operate, and maintain ground terminals, systems, and networks that keep the entire Army updated, informed, and situationally aware. 🛰️
