At the June 1 Board of Education meeting, the BOE approved a two-question bond for the November 3, 2026, ballot.

• If Question 1 passes, the tax rate would remain the same. A homeowner would not see an increase to what they currently pay.
• If Question 2 passes, the tax rate would increase with an anticipated impact of an additional $50 a year ($4.16 a month) for the owner of a $200,000 home compared to what is being paid today.

Question 2 can only pass if Question 1 passes.

This proposal reflects community feedback and focuses on rebuilding, renovating, and preserving our schools.

8th Grade Celebration will be Wednesday, May 20th at 9:30am in the Allison Auditorium. Students should dress in their Allison Standardized Dress for the event. Park on the Northwest corner of the building and enter either Door #12 or Door #15. Doors will open for families at 9am and students can leave with their families at the end of the celebration.

Current 8th grade students this is an opportunity jumpstart into high school! Take PE, get yourself familiar with high school before the school year begins and frees up your schedule for additional classes.

High School summer school enrollment begins Tuesday, April 7. Students can take courses for original credit or credit recovery. To enroll, students must see a counselor for course selection and completion of the online enrollment application. Classes will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

📌 High school students can take original credit in Government, Financial Literacy and P.E. and Professional Communications at Heights High School.

📌 Students can take Government and Financial Literacy virtually through Education Imagine Academy.

📌 Recovery credit for English I-IV, Algebra I, Geometry, Biology, US History 1 and 2, Government, P.E., Financial Literacy and Professional Communications is available at Heights High School. For details, go to usd259.org/summer.
