The Wichita Mayor’s Youth Council proudly hosted our MyCouncil event.

This evening highlighted a year of impact, growth, and meaningful connection within the city of Wichita. Through service, leadership, and collaboration, MYC has worked to build strong relationships and amplify youth voice across our community.

We are sincerely grateful to everyone who attended and supported our events throughout the year. Your presence and encouragement continue to drive our mission forward.

Listen to Lily Wu, the Mayor of Wichita and a board member of Second Light Homelessness Shelter, as she discusses the community issue of homelessness.

She encourages community members to support this cause through donations. The City of Wichita also promotes the “Real Change, not Spare Change” campaign, which focuses on more effective ways to help individuals have a lasting change in their lives.

Additionally, the Wichita Mayor’s Youth Council Homelessness Issue Group has created a podcast to raise awareness and educate others about homelessness.
