Paws & Read Little Free Library, #183004 Wichita, KS We built our 1st Little Free Library in 2024, as a family project, to share books with our community. We added a 2nd LFL in 2025, to offer more kids books.

I had bought a rock painting kit a little while back, but hadn’t gotten any of the rocks painted yet. Earlier this week I’d asked a few neighbor kids if they’d like to help me paint some rocks, and today they brought back the first few they had finished! They did such an amazing job, and even wrote messages on the back of some of them! They are perfect for our rock garden under the kids library

Had a great turnout yesterday for the Friends of the Wichita Public Library July Book Sale! We picked up this nice cart to help restock our LFL! Here are a few pics from sale day, and today’s book swap out.

Next Book Sale is in November! If you have books you’d like to donate, you can drop them off at our LFL, the Wichita Public Library, or message John or I and we can arrange a pick up!
