Congratulations to our very own Cindy Webster on being recognized with the Kansas EMS Association’s Donald E. White Educator of the Year Award!

Cindy has been an integral part of EMS education throughout Kansas for many years through initial EMT and Paramedic education. Additionally, she has participated in our outreach eduction programs, new hire orientation, and currently acts as the base educator here at the EagleMed Wichita base. Congratulations Cindy on a well deserved award!

With heavy hearts and deep love, family and friends announce the passing of Jon Wilson. As many of you know, we lost Jon on April 7, 2026, leaving behind his daughter, Peyton Wilson. Jon will be remembered not only for his kindness and strength of character, but also for the warmth, generosity, and steady presence he brought to the lives of those around him. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Family and friends are invited to gather in honor of Jon's life, to share stories, reflect on cherished moments, and celebrate a life that meant so much to so many.

Jon will be fondly remembered for the compassion he showed to others, the comfort of his presence, and the love he shared so freely. He touched many lives in quiet but meaningful ways, and his memory will remain a lasting blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing him.

The family of Jon Wilson has set a date for the celebration of his life and would like to welcome all his friends and co-workers.

To give everyone as much notice for travel and arrangements, they have landed on August 1, 2026, from 12-3 pm at the Wichita Boathouse in Wichita KS.

The family will be providing a buffet style lunch.

They have asked for all attendees to RSVP by 7/13/2026 so they can ensure they have enough food for all friends and family using the link below.

As we gear up for summer, many of us are excited to spend quality time with loved ones in the pool. EagleMed - Wichita would like to emphasize that safety always should be the top priority. To help keep you and your family safe while in the water, please consider the following tips:
• Always watch children when near the water
• Know the basics of lifesaving efforts, including CPR
• Learn how to swim, and teach your child how to swim
• Teach children basic water safety tips
• Keep children away from pool drains, pipes and other openings to avoid entrapments
• Keep a cell phone close
• Share safety instructions with family, friends and neighbors
