The WAD Fall/Christmas Bazaar is happening! It will be on Saturday, October 3rd, from 9 AM to 4 PM! 🎄🎃

**🍂 THURSDAY LUNCH CLUB • SEPTEMBER 🍂**

September is here, and you know what that means... time to get together, enjoy some good food, and make Thursdays a little more fun! 😄🍁

Don't spend your Thursday eating alone at home or at work. Come join us for **delicious food, great friends, plenty of laughs, and our usual crazy jokes!** 😂💕

Mark your calendars for September 10th! WSU America Sign Language Club and Kansas Association of the Deaf (KAD) teaming up with the Wind Surge for a fun night at the ballpark!

Let’s pack the ballpark and make it a great Deaf Night! 💙⚾

We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with Wind Surge for their game this fall. We will be selling tickets for $10 cash at club events and will also have an online store up soon with tickets selling for $15.

A mind-blowing 35 people have already purchased tickets and will be joining us for this special Deaf Community Night with the Wichita Wind Surge!
We are so excited to see everyone come together and celebrate our Deaf community! And it's not too late to join us!

The Kansas Association of the Deaf is excited to partner with the Wichita Wind Surge for Deaf Community Night during Deaf Awareness Month!

📅 Date: Thursday, September 10, 2026
📍 Location: Equity Bank Park – Wichita, KS
🎟️ Tickets: $10 per ticket (discounted rate & reserved seating behind the dugout)

This special event is open to all members of the Deaf community, along with your families and friends. The Wichita Wind Surge is helping make this an accessible and welcoming event by providing:

ASL interpreters throughout the event
A special welcome recognizing the Deaf community
Deaf-themed in-game activities and trivia
The ASL National Anthem

Children approximately ages 5–18 may also have the opportunity to participate in the Field of Dreams and High Five Tunnel experience, where they can:

Go onto the field before the game
Meet Wind Surge players and receive autographs
Stand on the field during the ASL National Anthem
Return to their seats to enjoy the game with their families

As an added bonus, September 10 is Thirsty Thursday, featuring $3 drinks throughout the evening for adults.
