Hello Wineteer Families.

Here is a quick overview of the week.

Tuesday - August 31- PTO Meeting @ 5:30 pm. This meeting is open to all Wineteer Families/Staff

Thursday - September 3- All Pro Dads meets at 7:00 a.m. All Dads and Father figures are invited to attend.

Our 1st All Pro Dad meeting is Thursday, September 3 @ 7:00 a.m

What is the All Pro Dads program?
Dads, father figures (such as grandfathers, stepfathers, uncles, or mentors), and their children come together at the school. Moms and other relatives are also welcome. The meetings center on a character-based curriculum (with age-appropriate versions for elementary and for middle/high school) that covers traits such as respect, courage, responsibility, kindness, perseverance, honesty, and communication. 

A typical meeting follows a structured but relaxed format provided by All Pro Dad:
• Light breakfast
• Pride Moment: Dads publicly or privately tell their child something they are proud of them for, building affirmation and connection.
• A short character video or lesson, guided by a PowerPoint and leader’s guide.
• Discussion time using printed cards with questions for dads to ask kids and vice versa.
• A fun ice-breaker activity or game tied to the topic.
• Sometimes a short prize raffle.
• A “Bring It Home” takeaway resource so families can continue the conversation and activities at home. 

The goal is simple and intentional: create consistent, quality time that strengthens the father-child relationship, encourages meaningful conversations about character, and increases positive parental engagement at school
