Don't miss the annual Garden Tour, offering a curated look at six private landscapes across the Wichita area. This year’s tour highlights practical and creative approaches to gardening, including water-wise design, habitat for pollinators and wildlife, and the integration of both ornamental and edible plantings.

The Garden Tour will be open for three days only: Friday, June 5 and Saturday, June 6 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday, June 7 from noon to 4:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 per person. Children 12 and under are admitted free with an adult.

All plants will be labeled, and Extension Master Gardener volunteers will be on-site at each location to answer questions and share research-based gardening information.

Advance tickets are available for $10.00 at the Sedgwick County Extension Education Center at 21st & Ridge Road, online at: www.sedgwick.ksu.edu/gardentour, or at each garden on the days of the Tour. All proceeds benefit the Sedgwick County Extension Master Gardener Volunteers’ community outreach programs.

Our neighborhood garden has a lovely little free library/sharing station and herb garden right on the corner of Murdock and Amidon.

The "pyra-mint" is filling in nicely and herbs are ready for picking. Be sure to wander down and use the scissors next to the herb garden sign to pick what you can use.

Our newest addition is the garden map on the fence, complete with a QR code to help you determine what to do with the herbs you choose. It is phenomenal!

You'll find a box of lambs ear at the sharing station. It is ready for you to put in the ground. Thank you for sharing, neighbors!

Interested in learning about ICT Food Rescue and their part in the Plant A Row produce donation program?

Join us at the garden Saturday morning at 9 am!

👀Spotted! Our Founder and Executive Director Stephanie and Board Member Val out in the community connecting with one of our amazing partners Emily over at Riverside Garden! 🎉

We love this partnership so much because Riverside Garden is not just a beautiful community space, they actually grow food specifically to donate to ICT Food Rescue through the Plant A Row Program, a partnership with the K-State Extension - Sedgwick County Master Gardeners! Fresh food grown with love and intention finding its way to food insecure neighbors right here in Wichita? We are so here for it! 🥬🍅

If you want to check it out for yourself Riverside Garden is hosting their first Coffee & Dirt of the season on May 9th at 9 AM! 🌱☕ They will be chatting about how they donate food and sharing seeds. Such a fun morning out!

This is exactly the kind of community collaboration that makes Wichita so special and we are so proud to be a part of it. 💚
