Cossatot River School District

Cossatot River School District Cossatot River School District serves K-12 students in both Polk and Howard Counties in Arkansas. Our Umpire Campus is an isolated K-12 campus in Howard County.

CRSD is comprised of Cossatot River Primary School, Cossatot River Elementary School, and Cossatot River High School. We operate on a four-day week, so every weekend is a three-day weekend! The district is situated amongst a variety of beautiful, natural areas, including the Cossatot River State Park along the Cossatot River. The river itself is included in Arkansas's Natural and Scenic Rivers Sys

tem and the National Park Service's list of National Wild and Scenic Rivers, making it a whitewater destination full of clear, cool creeks and swimming areas. The park is also home to camping and hiking attractions native only to the Ouachita Mountains and surrounding Ouachita National Forest. The Little Missouri River offers many more beautiful natural areas for hiking, swimming, and exploring. Nearby is the city of Mena, which includes the Talimena Scenic Drive, a National Scenic Byway, and the Queen Wilhelmina State Park. A short distance away is Hochatown, one of the country's fastest-growing recreational attractions. 🏀 FCA Senior Showdown Bound: McCormick & Ford! 🏀

Two Cossatot River School District student athletes are heading to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Senior Showdown, and we couldn't be prouder! Join us in cheering on our standout 2026 graduates as they take the court one last time:

Delaney Ford – Umpire High School

📅 Game Day Details
When: Thursday, May 28

Where: Pleasant Grove Gym, Texarkana

Tip-Off: Boys game starts at 6:00 PM; Girls game follows immediately.

Arrival: Gates open one hour before the first whistle.

🎟️ Ticket & Entry Info
Purchase: Get your tickets ahead of time at www.redriverfca.org.

At the Door: Cash, Debit/Credit, Venmo, and Cash App are all accepted.

Passes: No general passes allowed. However, THSCA and AAA coaches IDs will be honored.

Re-entry Policy: If you leave the gym for any reason, you must pay to re-enter. No exceptions!

📣 Good to Know
Programs: Digital programs will be available on the Red River FCA website one hour before game time.

Food: Concessions will be open and ready!

Pets: Please leave your furry friends at home; no pets allowed in the gym.

Friday, we had the honor of celebrating our CRES retirees and recognizing the incredible impact they have made through their many years of dedication and service. Their commitment, hard work, love for students, and countless contributions have helped shape our school in so many meaningful ways.

We are beyond grateful for the time, heart, and passion they poured into CRES over the years. While they will be greatly missed, we are so excited for them as they begin this new chapter of life. Thank you for the difference you have made and for the legacy you leave behind at CRES! Congratulations on your retirement! ❤️

While they’ll still be with us for a little while longer before their official retirement date, we wanted to take a moment to honor them before they head off to their next adventure!

REMINDER! 🏈⚽🏀 CRHS Sports Physicals Information 🩺

Sports physicals for CRHS students entering grades 7–12 for the 2026–2027 school year will be provided FREE OF CHARGE at Cossatot River High School on Wednesday, May 27, from 8:00 AM until 3:00 PM.

✅ No appointment needed
✅ First come, first served

For incoming 7th grade students, it is helpful if you can bring your health insurance card.

Students and parents should also be prepared to complete a health information form before the student is seen for the physical.
