Celebrate with the Cleveland Monsters! Some of the most exciting hockey in town. They are offering Wickliffe families and their friends a nice discount on two games in January - Fri., Jan. 10 and Sat., Jan. 11. Special promotions each night - Friday is discounted food and drink while Saturday is a t-shirt give away to the first 10,000 fans. Link is on the city's website. WINTERFEST - JANUARY 18, 2025!
Join us as we celebrate Winter at Green Ridge Golf Course on Saturday, January 18 from 1-4PM. Stop by for FREE food, drinks, give aways, games, and raffle prizes, hay rides. Fun for the whole family. Lake Metroparks, Wickliffe Public Library, Lake County Captains will be on hand to join in the fun. Enter our Annual Chili Cook Off and take home the trophy and bragging rights for the year. Call the Rec. Dept. if you would like to enter the Chili Contest. (440-943-7120). If its snowing, bring your own sled.

DON'T MISS YOUR CHANCE TO SIGN UP FOR REC. BASKETBALL!

Registration is now open for our Saturday Morning Recreation Basketball League. This is a CO-ED league for students in the 3-6th grades. Head Basketball Coach Marc Lewis and his staff will once again orchestrate this program. Third and Fourth graders will play together and Fifth and Sixth graders will play together. First workout is Thursday, January 2 at 6PM for 3/4 graders and at 7:15PM for 5/6 graders. Games start first Saturday in January at the Campus of Wickliffe in both the Blue and Gold gyms. Go to the city of Wickliffe website to register for this program.

Turkey Hunt is still on for Saturday, November 23 at 11:30AM, HOWEVER, meet at the Pond Pavilion and we will raffle off the turkeys. Still bundle up and prepare for the cold and wet weather.

Thanksgiving Turkey Hunt is fast approaching! Wickliffe residents show up at Coulby Park at the Gazebo behind City Hall on Saturday, November 23 at 11:30AM to participate in our annual turkey hunt.
Open to all ages. Adults will also have a chance to search Coulby Park for a "Thanksgiving" item in exchange for a frozen turkey and additional Thanksgiving fixings. The hunt goes "rain or shine" so dress appropriately. We also have a special visitor making an appearance. A very special "Thank You" to Lubrizol for sponsoring this hunt!

Join our Zumba class at the Wickliffe Community Senior Center on Monday and/or Thursday nights. Pick a night and take a class for only $7. Mondays 7-7:45PM and Thursdays 7:30-8:15PM. The City of Wickliffe is looking for a compassionate, hard working, detail oriented individual to fill the position of Senior Citizen Program Coordinator for the Wickliffe Senior Center. This is a full time position. Details on the city's website at www.cityofwickliffe.com in the "Employment Opportunity" tab. The City of Wickliffe is partnering with Club Molisani, OLMC and the Wickliffe Football Boosters to throw a tailgate party to watch the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, Sept. 29 at Club Molisani (29101 Euclid Avenue). DJ, food, beverage and other vendors will be at the party. We'll have a big LED screen set up in the parking lot for the 1PM game. Bring your own lawn chair. Stick around to watch the Browns at 4:30PM. Free shuttle service will be running from the Center For Pastoral Leadership (Borromeo) all day long. As this event continues to grow, keep watching the city's website or fb pages for updates. Contact City Hall at 440-943-7100 if you want to help sponsor this fun event!

Hello! Everyone could use a break from this crazy week, so sit back, relax and listen to some good music. Fortunately, we are still able to host the concert tonight at Coulby Park from 7-10PM featuring the band Sumrada. Unfortunately, the power situation has effected our vendors too. We are only able to provide ice cream with the East Coast Custard truck tonight. Wickliffe Forever will also be there to sell adult beverages. It looks like the weather is supposed to clear for the evening. Should be a nice night. Hope to see you there!

See you at the next "Concert at Coulby Park" in Wickliffe, right behind City Hall. August 9 from 7-10PM. It's been a great venue to watch the concerts this past summer. Finish off the summer with this great concert featuring Sumrada - rated #1 band on Cleveland's Hot List! They've been doing events for over 30 years! FREE and open to the public. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy the show. Thanks to concert sponsor - Truline Industries. Wickliffe Forever will be at the event selling beer and seltzer drinks. Food trucks - East Coast Custard, Chef T BBQ and The Toasted Bun are scheduled to be at the show.

Our first "Concert at the Park" is almost here. Friday, June 14 from 7-10PM at Wickliffe's Coulby Park, right behind City Hall.
Come hear the awesome music of "Pieces of Eight featuring The Lakeside Brass". You'll have a great time. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy this concert under the stars.
