On Tuesday, April 21 at 3:15 PM, After School Adventures will take us on a Fire Station Field Trip: Learn About Fire Safety! Join us for a special library field trip to the local fire station where young patrons (K-3rd grade) and their caregivers will meet real firefighters and learn all about fire safety in an exciting, hands-on way. *Caregivers will bring their children to the Fire Station on Euclid Avenue and stay for program. Wickliffe Public Library will host a Puzzle Swap on Saturday, May 2 from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM. Puzzle enthusiasts may drop off gently used puzzles (at least 300 pieces, in the original box), at the front desk anytime prior to the puzzle swap and receive a voucher to redeem on May 2.

Wickliffe Public Library will be having a Plant Bingo Fundraiser on Thursday, April 30 from 6:30-8:30pm sponsored by The Friends of Wickliffe Public Library. Brittany Magruder from Well Rooted Plants will be here for 5 Rounds of BINGO with 3 plant winners each round - a total of 15 winners! There will also be basket raffles and a 50/50 raffle. Snacks will be provided. Additional plants will be available for purchase. Admission is $15 payable at the door and pre-registration is required. Call the library to register, (440) 944-6010. All proceeds support Programming at Wickliffe Public Library.

There are still spots available for Afterschool Adventures: Backyard Bird Buddies on Tuesday, April 7 at 3:15 PM. Children will discover how to care for and appreciate backyard birds through stories, hands-on learning, and a creative craft to take home (kids will be painting birdhouses with acrylic markers). Our special guest from Wild Birds Unlimited will share fascinating facts about local birds, how they find food, build nests, and stay safe through the seasons.
