The Wiconisco Fire Company was dispatched along with the Carsonville Fire Company to the 19-4 Box to the intersection of Powell's Valley Road and Greenland Road for an MVA. Squad 23 responded with 3 shortly after dispatch, and helped with patient care, and stabilizing and removing the vehicle from the ditch.

We are SO excited to finally announce something very special we’ve been working on behind the scenes!

This Breast Cancer Awareness season, A+J Branded has teamed up with 9 local organizations for one big fundraiser. Each organization has their very own Breast Cancer Awareness design, created specifically for them by us.

With every item sold, a portion of the proceeds will go directly back to the organization you are supporting, while the other portion will be donated to a local woman currently battling breast cancer.

I want to give a HUGE thank you to the organizations that are making this all possible!

🚨🚨🚨 WE ARE CURRENTLY SEEKING VOLUNTEERS!!!🚨🚨🚨

The Wiconisco Fire Engine Company No. 1 is currently seeking volunteers of the community to help serve our Township, and surrounding communities under active membership.

Since 1922, we have been serving the Township of Wiconisco, providing fire and rescue response, as well as first aid and medical response, which follow mutually to our adjacent and local municipalities in northern Dauphin County, southern Northumberland County, and western Schuylkill County. 100% volunteer for 104 years!

Active membership is defined as firefighter responsibilities. Whether you have past experience, training, and/or certification, or are looking for new ways to serve your community, WE WANT YOU!!! We offer services as fire suppression, basic and special vehicle rescue, tanker shuttle water supply operations, rescue operations, breathing air replenishment operations, medical assist operations, aeromedical helicopter landing zone operations, wildland forestry fire operations, and fire police operations.

In house training is provided on a weekly basis on Monday evenings, with some weekend trainings available. More advanced training and certifications are also offered within house by State Instructors from the region, or locally nearby in another municipality.

We also provide a junior firefighter program for individuals under the age of 18 years old. Also, we participate in multiple fundraisers and functions that not only support the community, but our small town volunteer fire company as well.

It is the year 2026. With the day and age we live in, volunteer membership is DRASTICALLY DWINDLING. We are seeking the community's help! If you are interested in applying to serve your community, reach out to any active member, or message us, or reach out to our social club The Wic 23, or give us a call at 717-453-7492, and leave us a voicemail.

Yesterday 8/4/26, the Wiconisco Fire Company attended National Night Out at the Midway in Tower City for the Williams Valley School District. Wiconisco FC handed out hats to the kids, and we rolled up the doors for the kids and parents, showing the variety of tools we use, and the services we provide.
