We are proud to share that the Wilcox Volunteer Fire Department Ambulance and QRS successfully completed our Pennsylvania Department of Health recertification process today!

This achievement reflects the ongoing commitment of our members to maintain the highest standards of emergency medical care. From rigorous equipment checks to hours of training, our team continues to put in the work to ensure the Wilcox community is in safe hands.

Due to current weather conditions, including low humidity, dry vegetation, and breezy winds, our area is experiencing an elevated risk for wildfires.

🚫 We strongly urge all residents to:
• Avoid all outdoor burning
• Properly dispose of ci******es and smoking materials
• Use extreme caution with equipment that can produce sparks
• Never leave campfires unattended

Even a small spark can quickly spread and become a dangerous fire under these conditions.

👨‍🚒 Our department is closely monitoring the situation and stands ready to respond, but we need your help to prevent fires before they start.
