🍕 SAVE THE DATE!! PIZZA & MOVIE NIGHT 🍿

Join us on Friday, August 14th at the Jones Township Senior Center for a fun evening of pizza, a movie, and great company! This event is open to the public, so bring your family and friends!

⏰ Doors open at 6:00 PM --- Movie Starts at 7:00 PM

🎬 What movie are we watching? We haven't chosen one yet! If we have a good turnout, everyone attending can help vote on and choose the movie together. We'll be showing a free movie available through a streaming service, so there may be a few advertisements during the film.

🍕 Help make the evening a success! Bringing something is completely optional ---- Please don't feel obligated. If you would like to contribute to our community pizza and snack table, we'd truly appreciate it! When you sign up, please let us know what you'd like to bring.

Some ideas include:
🍕 Pizza sauce
🧀 Cheese
🥓 Pepperoni or other toppings
🥦 Vegetables
🍿 Chips or popcorn
🍪 Cookies or desserts
💧 Bottled water
🥤 Pop
🍿 Other snacks

📞 Please sign up or call the Senior Center if you plan to attend. This will help us get an approximate head count so we can plan for food and seating.

The Jones Township Senior Center is located at 320 Faries Street in Wilcox. Hours of operation are 8:30am to 1:30pm every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Lunch is served at noon each day!
Coffee and snacks are available by 9am each day as well.

Please order your lunch by 12:30pm the Wednesday prior to the week of the day(s) you are requesting a lunch, by calling 814-929-5443, or by stopping in to sign up! You can also pre-order lunches for several weeks in advance using the Copilot system by going online to checkmein.copilot21.com. Monthly menus will be available in the center & online on FaceBook as well!

Currently, Our FITNESS CENTER, is open during Center Hours on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. We have a treadmill, elliptical, multifunctional full gym, stair climber, free weights and more! We have a new Computer Center with a new computer, Wi-Fi, color printer and laminator for your use.

We will be playing cards on Tuesdays starting at 10:30am! We have been posting monthly event calendars on FaceBook to update everyone on these activities as well. We hope to see some new and returning faces this upcoming week; please join us!

I would also like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Lindsay Farnsworth, and I am honored to be the new Meals and Activities director at the Senior Center. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve our community and look forward to meeting each of you! Whether you’re a familiar face or visiting for the first time, I hope you’ll stop by, say hello, and see all the wonderful things our senior center has to offer!
