Please see the post below from KYTC District 6 concerning gas line construction on the outbound parts of Johns Hill leaving the city beginning Monday night

🚧Nightly Gas Line Work on Martha Layne Collins Boulevard in Campbell County🚧

Beginning Monday, May 18, crews will be installing a gas line as part of a permit project. This work will be performed in four phases over a six-week period.

Expect various lane/road closures associated with the work between Johns Hill Road and east of Salmon Pass. Crews will be working nightly between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. All lanes/roads reopen by 6 a.m. daily.

Crews will begin working on the west end portion of the project near Johns Hill Road. As the permit project progresses, crews will shift to the east for the next phases of the project.

A signed detour will be in place utilizing Johns Hill Road to University Drive, to Louie B. Nunn Drive, to Alexandria Pike. Signed detours will also be provided for folks living near the project area to safely get around the work.

Weather permitting, this permit project is expected to be completed Monday, June 29.
