STRATEGIC GOALS

Shared Vision

To develop a shared visioning process that addresses the educational needs of the families and students in Wilder. To engage students, teachers, staff, parents, school leaders, and community members in the shared visioning process. To provide opportunities for students, parents, teachers, staff, and members of the community to develop cultural and linguistic compete

ncy/fluency. Shared Leadership

To provide training on effective shared decision-making processes. To actively encourage the involvement of parents and all school staff in site-based or other shared decision-making processes. To use data to monitor and evaluate student progress. To recognize and reward professional inquiry by all staff. Supportive Organization
To maintain support for effective academic programs. To improve the effectiveness of ELL programs
Provide in-service on literacy strategies for K-12 teachers, and
Hire certified bilingual teachers. To create and maintain a school climate that supports the social and learning needs of all students:
Use time to maximize student learning and increase academic achievement;
Increase student participation in extra-curricular activities. Challenging Curriculum/Engaged Student Learning

To provide a rigorous and challenging curriculum that is aligned for all students. To maintain high expectations for all students and to provide the support necessary for their success. To ensure that all staff, students, and parents understand the academic standards required for all students. To continuously focus and address the unique needs of ELL, migrant, and special education students. To provide multiple assessments in order to offer all students more opportunities to succeed. To provide all students with learning experiences that are culturally, linguistically, and developmentally appropriate. Collaborative Learning Community

To maintain a culture where all staff are constantly engaged in professional development and learning opportunities. To provide time for school administrators, teachers, staff, and parents to make collaborative decisions. Use relevant data to determine the learning and instructional program. Proactive Community Relations

To develop a school where parents and local businesses are encouraged to use facilities to further their own learning. To develop active partnerships between schools and all parents. To encourage positive, respectful, open, and honest dialogue and decision-making among teachers, school leaders, parents, and students.

It’s been a busy and exciting season of end-of-year celebrations at Wilder! 🎉🎓🎭

From Kindergarten Graduation to the elementary musical, our students have been shining both on stage and in the classroom. These special events are such a fun way to celebrate all of the hard work, growth, and memories made throughout the school year.

We are so proud of our students and grateful to our staff and families who help make these moments so meaningful. 💙

Students enjoyed donuts and Italian sodas as we celebrated those who met their stretch growth goals or scored proficient/advanced on the ELA or Math ISATs. We are so proud of their hard work, growth, and dedication this year!
