Non-profit charitable organization dedicated to providing 360 degrees of support to combat veterans and their families transitioning to civilian life.

Combat Veterans to Careers (CVC) was founded in The Villages in May 2012 with the commitment to serve our nation’s combat veterans and their families. We assist veterans and their families the area of education, employment, housing and wellness. CVC has partnered with local residents, clubs, businesses, colleges and VA offices to bring combat veterans and their families “home” to a community that

embraces them and provides education, understanding and meaningful employment to minimize hardships. In addition to counseling, housing, career and educational opportunities, we provide veterans with opportunities to deliver services beyond themselves. This is essential to successfully reconnecting with others in the community, and is a large part of why many veterans were led to serve their country in the first place. Accessing care and benefits through the VA, utilizing earned education benefits, training for civilian careers, securing affordable housing and developing a quality resume package are just a few of the ways we continue to help our veterans transition back into civilian life.

We had such a fun day in the writers room today! We had our first veteran Zoom write, and it was with someone we've become friends with over the last few months—Colonel Rob Bollinger. Rob is such a humble and impressive person who has accomplished so many incredible things during his 26 years of service, and we felt so honored to spend the day with him helping put his story into a song.

We will be performing this month’s veteran writes Monday night (August 31) at City Fire - The Villages Lake Sumter Landing for our monthly Voices of Valor event. If you’re in the area, we’d love to see you in the crowd supporting these heroes who served our country.

As always, we are beyond grateful to Creativets and Combat Veterans To Careers for giving us these life changing opportunities to give back to those who gave it all! 🇺🇸

There is strength in recognizing when you need help—and even more strength in reaching for it. 🇺🇸

Through Operation Field Trip, Combat Veterans to Careers is helping veterans access resources and treatment options, including clinician-supervised ketamine therapy when medically appropriate, for those who may be struggling and haven’t found the relief they need.

If you’re a veteran who feels like you’ve tried everything, please don’t give up. There is hope.

You don’t have to have all the answers. You don’t have to figure out the next step alone. Come to us. Talk to us. Let us help you find a path forward.

Asking for help isn’t weakness. Recognizing that something needs to change takes courage—and allowing someone to stand beside you while you make that change takes strength.

And if there’s a veteran in your life who is struggling, send them our way. Share this with them. Make the call with them. Remind them that there are still options, there are still people willing to help, and there is still hope.
