Saturday was a beautiful day to celebrate the wonderful city of Wildwood turning 30! We had a great Eagle turnout whether they walked with Eddie the Eagle and Fairway, or they walked with their activity or sport club! Thank you so much to all of our parent volunteers who walked with us and especially our generous PTO for providing candy! 💚

Yesterday was quite a special Valentine's Day at Fairway Elementary as we celebrated five PHENOMENAL educators nominated for Teacher of the Year! Congratulations to Ms. Kaitlyn Flora, Ms. Jen Hortiz, Mrs. Sarah jones, Mrs. Crystal Mueller, and Mrs. Leslie Windler! Fairway's 2024-2025 Teacher of the Year is first grade teacher, MRS. We couldn't be more proud of this TRULY AMAZING human being! Fairway's monumental loss is most definitely an awesome win for the Babler Bulldogs! Not only is the Babler community getting pure talent, but the most important qualities of integrity, kindness, and LOVE for all. We love you, Michelle, and will miss you so much! 🦅

The Rockwood Board of Education has approved the hiring of Dr. Michelle Fitzsimmons as the new assistant principal at Babler Elementary, beginning July 1.

Currently, Michelle is the administrative intern at Fairway Elementary, where she has worked since 2018. Prior to that, she was a data analyst for Rockwood for five years after having taught for seven years at Eureka and Geggie elementary schools. Michelle has served on multiple school and district committees and worked as a Summer Academy principal and assistant principal. She has participated in Rockwood’s program for aspiring administrators and the Missouri Leadership Development System.
