Water is being pulled off our system, this will stir up the sediment in the lines so check the water before using it for washing clothes and other things. They will be pulling water from us for perhaps the rest of the month as they finish cleaning out the old pond and while they do the dirt work to get it prepared to be lined. We are nearing the completion of this project so we ask for more patience as they work on finishing the last pond. Thank You!

We would like to remind everyone of 2 things:
1. Tree Dump is only for RESIDENTS of Wiley and only for Tree and Yard debris as in grass, garden debris, bushes and such. It is not a trash dump/do not take furniture, appliances, tires, electronics, or household trash to this TREE dump. Anything other than tree and yard debris you will need to haul to City of Lamar's landfill. It is being monitored by camera and any violators will be ticketed or the sheriff called on you. The State inspects the tree dump and if anything besides tree and yard debris if found there they will shut it down.
Reminder for residents who are unable to haul your yard debris to the tree dump, you can bag the grass clippings in bags that one person can lift and put them next to a dumpster, not in front of them.
2. Dumpsters: Do not put oil, paint, tires, furniture, appliances, construction materials, animals, electronics like tv's, computers, copiers etc in the dumpsters. You must haul those items to City of Lamar's landfill. Do not put grass, weeds and tree debris in the dumpsters, haul those items to the tree dump or bag them and place them next to a dumpster.
Thank you for your assistance in keeping the trash costs down and the tree dump from being closed.

Great News, Our sewer project is officially started. The contractors (RMS Utilities, great people) are here and are busy. They will be working Monday thru Thursday 7:00AM to 7:00PM, so they can go home to their families for the weekend.
Reminder of the project: they will be putting in two additional evaporative ponds, they will drudge and line the current pond, replace the three lift stations with safer more efficient equipment, and replace many manholes.
The timeframe of them completing this work will be April or May of next year, all depending on our winter.
We ask for continued patience as we work through the construction phase.
