PPL Electric has begun converting our old high-pressure sodium streetlights to new eco-friendly, energy-efficient LED streetlights. In the event one of the new lights is shining too bright; adjustments can made when possible or a deflector/shield can be installed on the lights by calling PP&L at 1-800-342-5775.

Please be prepared to give the following information:
1. Location of the streetlight (house number &/or street and nearest intersection)
2. Numbers on the pole. These numbers are a metal strip with 2 rows of numbers & a letter on the pole itself. (See attached photo) *Note: The “I’s” are actually “1’s” In the photo shown, the pole number is: 51674 / N397116
3. Inform them the streetlight is for the municipality of Wilkes-Barre Township, 150 Watson St, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702 / (570) 208-4635
