Wilkes-Barre Little League will be holding its annual Field Day event on Sunday 8/16 beginning at 1:00 pm at the Parson Little League Field, 1091 Scott St.

We will have baseball-themed games including a home run derby, food, prizes, music, and fun. Hope to see you there!

On August 14, if you are downtown in Wilkes-Barre and thinking about heading over to Public Square for the Summer Concert Series and want to grab a very affordable hoagie, a bg of chips, and a soda or water for under $10, actually $8, stop by our Lodge to help support our historic Masonic Temple Association building that had its cornerstone laid in 1916, by all means stop by and grab one or two!

Look for then pop up tent in the back corner of thr parking lot by the orange dumpster, near thr kitchen door. All produce is sourced from our local farms.

Learn more about Freemasonry in the Wyoming Valley, who some of the leading Freemasons were in the City of Wilkes-Barre and surrounding communities, and most importantly, get a chance to meet some great Brothers, and you may decide later to knock at the doors of Freemasonry and want to become one yourself. We're always striving to make good men better.

I remember it well.

40 years ago, Wilkes-Barre City Council got serious about "cruising the square." Do you remember this and do you know anyone ticketed or jailed for it? _ Sue
