Rainier’s foothills, Wilkeson Elementary is focused on ensuring that each of our 250 students meet and exceed the grade level academic standards in all subjects. The White River School District has established its presence on Facebook and Twitter to better communicate with the community and, as a public agency, expects civil and constructive discourse from commenters. The White River School District has an "Electronic Resources" policy (2022) and procedure that defines acceptable and unacceptable use of the district’s electronic, computer and network resources. This policy states in part that unacceptable network use includes, but is not limited to, “Cyberbullying, hate mail, defamation, harassment of any kind, discriminatory jokes and remarks ; Support for or opposition to ballot measures, candidates and any other political activity”. In addition, “Use of digital resources to access, store or distribute obscene, pornographic or other inappropriate material is prohibited.”
