The Weir Cook Community Day was again a huge success with the car show having 49 cars this year.
The show was down from 80+ last year, we believe because of Saturday's weather being questioned.

I want to thank all of the sponsors, Suzy's Pizza, Auto Zone, Napa and Team Image...plus a Big Thanks to all of the sponsors listed and pictured at the registration tent.

A huge Thanks to the Wilkinson Police Department for providing the event food, also a Big Thanks to Wilkinson Town Clerk Naomi and Tom Carlton for donating a Blackstone grill to the Police Department to cook the food!
I'm excited to announce we have plans for next year changing up for even a better show, so please put this Community event/car show on your 2027 calendar for the 4th Saturday in June (June 26th 2027) Thank You!!!

A Big Thank You to all the volunteers who took time to come out and help spread gravel and trimmed trees at the park Saturday! A special Thanks to Wilkinson Town Citizens, Terry & Sally Molden, Kenny Heiden, Nicole Byerley, Lilly Byerley & Ciara Gilaspy. Also Thanks to our Town Board President Eugene Young, Town Clerk Naomi Carlton, Tom Carlton, Wastewater Manager Sam Weist and Police Chief Donnie Mullins. The park looks great! Again Thank You All!

We are saddened to hear about the passing of a member of the Mt. Lawn Crew, Thomas "Tom Tom" Evans. You will be greatly missed by the Town Of Wilkinson and the Wilkinson car show .Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends during this difficult time.

It has come to my attention of several residents asking about vehicle thefts in Town. In the past few days, there have been several theft of vehicles. In both incidents, keys have been left in the the owners vehicle. We are currently working diligently on this matter. I encourage all residents to lock, remove the keys, and remove valuables from your vehicle. If you do see any suspicious person or persons around a vehicle, or have any information please contact the Wilkinson Police Department or call 911. Thank You.

Thanks so much to Samantha Wagner and the entire Wilkinson Dollar Store Staff for organizing the toy drive for a special family this year! Also a Big Thank You to the Towns residents who purchased toys at the Dollar Store to help make this happen! A special Thank You to The Wilkinson Police Department Officers, Chief Donnie Mullins, Deputy Chief Joe Munden, Lt Dan Fountain & Officer Jay Marx for taking time away from there families on Christmas Eve to help deliver the gifts. Again Thanks So Much to all involved!
